Star Wars 1313 Trademark Not Renewed By Disney

According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the trademark for Star Wars 1313 has been:
"Abandoned because no Statement of Use or Extension Request timely filed after Notice of Allowance was issued."

Disney and EA could have chosen to renew the trademark, however they seem to be moving in a different direction than what Lucas Arts has done previously. With Dice developing Battlefront and Area52 developing Star Wars: Attack Squadrons, it seems that 1313 is officially dead.

The official website for Star Wars 1313 is still active for now. Although it has not been updated for quite sometime. Stay tuned for more details.

  2. What Disney and EA, had done closing the Star Wars 1313 project, show the big miscalculation and lack of vision this big game corporations can do and miss, mainly because their ego is bigger then their respect for their customers ( The Gaming Community ). So for doing this shameful act of Ignorance, Disney and EA deserve the Golden Dunkey Award to the Stupidity.
